My background as sports psychologist 

In June 2025 I completed my Master Degree in Work, Health & Organisational Psychology with a specialisation in Sport & Performance psychology. I did my internship at the Swedish Olympic Sports Centre during which I worked with athletes completing in the "elite athlete programme" gathering some of the best u23 athletes in Sweden. During my internship I wrote my master thesis on the topic of visualisation and mental imagery among athletes - a tool which as shown great results on several different aspects of athletes ability to perform. 

Besides my internship, I also have practical experience from working with professional athletes from the Dutch and Swedish athletics federation. With one of them during a crucial qualification period leading up to the 2025 European Indoor Athletics Championships.   

With above mentioned practical and theoretical knowledge, combined with my own experiences as a professional athlete, I am multifaceted psychologist eager to continue to learn and develop together with my clients. 

As a sports psychologist, what can I help with? 

The essence of my work is performance optimization and enhancement. During a sports career, it is very common for athlete´s to experience issues such as performance anxiety, arousal problems, life-sport balance issues, nerves, low self-confidence etc etc. The conversation and tools I can offer will always be tailored towards solutions and ultimately better performance. Thus, I will never be able to give an you an official diagnose. If that is what you think you need, it is better to search for help at a clinical psychologist. 

No matter your challenges, you are always welcome to contact me, and if I am not the right person for your problems, I will help you to find help elsewhere.

Advisory set ups 

1. Single sessions 

We meet online or in person to map-out and tackle your challenges together. You get tasks to work on in- and outside of performance settings - everything to get you mentally ready to perform  

This suits any athlete who experience mental barriers to their physical performance  

First consultation for free, then 40€/session 

2. 6 sessions  

During a period of 6-10 weeks we meet 6 times online, or in person, to map-out and tackle your ​challenges together. You get tasks to work on in- and outside of performance setting and I am available throughout your whole process 

This suits any athlete who experince mental barriers to their physcial performance and wants to work deeply and intensly with mental training 

200€ excluding a first free consultation 

I work in Swedish and English, and can understand and make myself understood in Dutch
